Nungnung Waterfall
The distance to this tourism object is 45 kilometers or about 1 and a half hours from capital city of Denpasar. First, the tourists can take Ahmad Yani street toward Sangeh Village, then continued going to Pelaga Village until arrive at Banjar Nungnung. On the left side of the road, the visitor will find intersection with the sign "Nungnung Waterfall". After that, turn right about 500 meters to enter parking area and ticket counter. Then the trip continued by on foot about 15 minutes through 540 stairs.
The American Guest named Janean said that she wanted to come to this waterfall for a long time. She knew this place from her tour guide and asked the map of the place. "This waterfall is beautiful with interesting trip. Here is clean and fresh. This make me want to feel the water by swimming," he revealed happily.
While the ticket officer, Made Gara said, the place is often visited by local and foreign tourist. "Foreigners mostly come from America, Holland and Australia. Besides that, there are also local from Denpasar, Badung and sometimes Java."
Beside waterfall, Gara explain, there is also a cave as the Dutch colonial heritage and small temple as shrine of god Wisnu. The temple was build when Nunung Waterfall opened and promoted as tourism object in 1996 by Badung Goverment. "Every Purnama Karo, there is ceremony called odalan, sometimes this ceremony attract tourist attention. Moreover, this waterfall is getting better since the stairs had been improved in 2012," he said.
